"Hard-wire: Secondary Option"

As a secondary option, I purchased the Rode MiCon-5 XLR Adapter (Standard) to "hard-wire" the Rode Lavalier Microphone directly into the Zoom F8 Field Recorder to avoid potential noise-interference from utilizing the Sennheiser EW 112-P Wireless Lavalier Microphone Set (as my first recording option for cinematography projects). This particular approach of having a "hard-wire" option available for a "backup" to the Sennheiser EW 112-P Wireless Lavalier system has addressed some key issues with associated noise-interference from utilizing a wireless lavalier system. As such the Rode MiCon-5 XLR Adapter versatility is perfect for this particular approach.

"Needed Versatility"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

The Rode MiCon-5 XLR Adapter provides the needed versatility for going "wired" with the Rode Lavalier Microphone in settings were movement is minimum. The threaded connection and XLR "end" allows for easy connection to any device that is XLR compatible.
Sound
The Rode MiCon-5 XLR Adapter allows the Rode Lavalier Microphone to produce a clear sound, in which I shall be utilizing the Rode Lavalier Microphone on a Zoom F8 Field Recorder.
Features
The most useful feature of the Rode MiCon-5 XLR Adapter is the versatility to allow the Rode Lavalier microphone to convert to be "hard-wired".
