"Best audio interface !"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I wish it had a pair of analog inputs and outputs. However there are optional cards for this but they are used at the expense of a pair of adat's
Sound
I used to use emu 1212m. I used a tc electronic m300 as a converter connected to its spdif outputs. Sounded softer than the emu's own AD converters. When i switched to RME 9652 it sounded even better and sweeter straight away. There was much definition and stability. Then i bought a RME ADI-2 AD-DA Converter. I am using the sound card with that. I cannot be happier than this. Quality sound indeed.
Features
More u use more flexible u get
Ease of Use
Very cleverly thought out
Quality
I think there is nothing better than this at this price range. I dont know any other brand that i can rely on like this. Prism Sound made an interface but it is far more expensive...
Value
Best value ever. Card is very well made and rme keeps updating the drivers which makes it better and better...
Manufacturer Support
i didnt have to deal with it...
The Wow Factor
i can have one more but i think those firewire things are very attractive.

RME HDSP 9652 Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Quality all over...
Sound
Absolutely the best PCI sound card out there...
Features
52 channels, nice software mixer capable of anything. The only bad thing is lack of analogue I/O. You will need to use a AD/DA converter if you want analogue I/O. You get 2 MIDI I/O as well.
Quality
Never had any problems. Very well built.
Value
You won't find a sound card with this much features and quality in this price range.
Manufacturer Support
Contacted RME once... They replied fast and were very friendly and helpfull.
The Wow Factor
I own it.
