I got this to hookup my laptop to my studio monitors that needed balanced inputs. It works great and is small enough to hide out of sight.

Just what the title says... If you want to take advantage of XLR connectivity from your speakers and want to hook them up to your laptop or other audio source without XLR outputs (having RCA jacks), this little box will do the trick. It's very solid, basic and does what's it's meant to do!
