Quilter MicroPro 8 Mach 2 Guitar Combo Amplifier (200 Watts, 1x8")

Weighing in at only 19 pounds, this Quilter combo sounds much bigger than it looks. A single 8" Celestion TF0818 speaker pushes out upwards of 200W RMS.

"Love this AMP!"

Love this amp. This is my third Quilter. I originally had a Micropro (first generation) with a 10" speaker. Then I went to a ToneBlock 200. Great amp, but this Micropro Mach 2 is amazing. I have had this amp for one year now and I can say it is amazing. I have the 8" and I pair it with a 12" cabinet that I have laying around. That is a great combo, but the 8" is amazing on its own. The 8" by itself also does a great job with my acoustic guitars. My primary guitar for this amp is a Fender American Professional. I also use quite a few different pedals and i've had good luck. I have a Wampler Tumnus, a Joyo Sweet Baby, a Electro-Harmonix Crayon, and a Keeley Dark Side, they all work great with this amp. The boost functions are the thing that isn't amazing. I like the Boost, Bright, and Scoop settings, but the Cream and Crunch are better left to my stomp boxes. The Reverb and Tremolo features are very good. I have no regrets about this purchase!

"Quilter's Micropro Mach II 8 inch exceeds expectation"

Love at first listen! The ultimate in clean sound with considerable depth whether you like it clean as in no effects whatsoever or with the sweet reverb that is part of the package. I won't spit back the info that is provided in the item description on this web site, but I will tell you that the build quality has to be seen and felt to be appreciated. I'll also tell you that control dials that actually have detectable stops/clicks are an underappreciated luxury not to mention the back lit control labels. Forget the fact that this is powered by an 8 inch speaker. Whatever Voodoo Quilter has conjured up has the Mach II indistinguishable from a 12 inch combo. Nor will you miss "tubes" because the Mach II can so closely emulate that old 30 pound Fender that you've been lugging around. My other compact amp, the Fender Champ X2 (tubes and solid state) is nice but can't compete in the bass department. While the Quilter is vibration free when plunking a low E string, the Champ cabinet vibrates with aplomb. Nuff said....This amp is a winner. Like I said: Love at first listen!

I'll never buy another amp again. Sold off 5 others, kept one for a backup, but I doubt I'll need it. This is one solid piece of equipment. I'm really impressed with the build quality, the tone variations, and the reverb is to die for. 200 available watts in a 19lb package. Incredible. Tubes? Who needs tubes? This amp does exactly what I need it to do.
