I tried the JBL PRX418, but kept getting ruptured subs. One was good, but the second was bad. I gave up and went with the QSC E18. I'M GLAD I DID!!!! These subs kick A$$!! They are 4 ohms, so you can't run an amp in bridge mode unless you wire 2 of them in series. With the bare wire hookup on the back, you can...This is so cool. Now for that dirty south bass, you can't pump this sub too loud because the frequency does not go that low at high volume. Still, these subs are a BEAST!!!!!!!
