This was on of the best kep cable secrets on this website. I needed cables for Desk Mixer. Usually this would not be a proble, except my mixer is installed on a slide platform that did not have enough room for the standard straight sleeve XLR cables. I searched high and low to find a vendor that made connectors that could bend 90 degrees or were made for 80 degree installation. Fortunately I was not too proud to ask....after searching more than I thought I would. Simply stated: The conector si the most vulnerable part of the cable for obvious reasons. This cable has a re=enforced, hinged retainer that allows the cable to bend and also keep the cable form becoming crimped. They fit snuggly, they allow hte cables to remain connected when I pull the mixer out or push it in, and I ahve yet to have a bad connection. THe cables also come with a clever band and peg so I can wind them and not look for something to hold the loop together. THey are a bit pricey, but more than worth the price in quality, durability, adaptability, and convenience. I purchased 8 initially and intend to purchse more as I need them
