Great guitar for the price, in both FORM and Function...!!!
Sound
Having the option to switch (or tap out) from Humbuckers to Single coil pickups is a very unique and wonderful sound option for this particular musician. Peavey got it right with this particular model and I commend ZZounds for the fast delivery process and expert packaging upon arrival of this guitar (a box, inside another box, inside ANOTHER box for adequate protection during delivery...)
Features
The push pull switch which allows the guitar player to go from dual Humbuckers to Single coils instantaneously.....!!!!

Well, I Got This Electric Guitar 5 Days Ago And I Am Absolelutely Amazed At The Sound It Puts Out! I Got The Candy Apple Red Color And Right Out Of The Box It Was In Fantastic Shape! With No Blemishes Anywhere. Just Adjusted The Bridge Some And It Was Ready To Go! It's Very Easy To Play And With The 24 Frets You Have Plenty Of Room To Go Up And Down The Fretboard. With The Coil Tapping On The Tone Knob, You Get The Single Coil Sounds. All In All An Excellent Guitar That Plays And Sounds Great ! I'll Be Using This Guitar For My Audition Coming Up As Well As For Playing In The Worship/Praise Group On Sundays. Thanks Peavey! And ZZounds !

I was fully aware this was an entry level guitar before the purchase . I purchased it to help re-strengthen my fingers after I had to have surgery on the tendons in my left hand. All of my other guitars are 24 3/4 scale, I bought a lower level guitar with a 25 1/2 scale to get back to playing as they use less string tension and play easier. At the price I paid for it as "blemished" I wasn't going to send it back or contact ZZ Sounds about it. I assumed having the Peavey name associated with it that there would be some type of quality control. The guitar arrived very quickly. Atta boy ZZsounds, the nuts for the control pots were loose and the pots were moving around, needless to say I discovered that after the first time I turned the tone pot and it spun and broke the wiring. An easy fix. The "adjustable bridge is non adjustable due to the fact the pressed in knurled nuts spin in the body because the adjustment screws are bottomed out in the nuts. It would not intonate or play in tune as arrived, A string replacement didn't help. I had to take the saddles in the bridge and reverse the direction on the 4-6th strings to get the string length short enough. The 1-3rd strings fret out; are punky and dead sounding. Further inspection revealed a bump in the middle of the finger board between the 7-12th frets that attempting to adjust the relief in the neck doesn't help as the truss rod only seems to adjust it from about the 10th fret to the nut instead of the whole neck.. A friend is a factory certified guitar tech (Martin; Gibson; Fender: Peavey etc) found several frets not to be seated all the way, I thought I had noticed that too. It would need them reseated, re leveled and re crowned. It would cost more than I paid for the guitar said leave it alone. I will eventually give it to my Grandson. He'll be happy. After the purchase, I looked at several other Predator plus EXP at a local music store, several of them had similar issues with the necks being like a roller coaster. Because I saw the same issues on others of the same model, I assumed had I sent it back for another I had a pretty good chance of getting another guitar with similar issues. But man it has some have a very useable tone variety and does sound really good. If the neck and bridge issues weren't there, it would useable onstage even. I didn't contact Peavey about these issues but they have always had excellent support in the past.
