* Manufacturer Support hasn't been needed Bought this to serve as a backup to my Ampeg SVT 7 Pro. Ran through a Fender Rumble 410 and Fender Bassman 410 cab. 1st thing that jumped out at me is the volume. SHOCKINGLY loud compared to the SVT 7 Pro. Sounds great with a flat ish EQ... flat low, high mids and high, I play with the low mid a bit. I won't be using Kosmos C, though it would have it's uses at low volume. Kosmos A is a cool feature I will use from time to time. Carrying bag is nice. Head is very easy to operateI will buy the reasonably priced footswitch soon. Bottom line : The Minimega CRUSHED my SVT 7 Pro. The SVT is now the backup to my Minimega. I don't use Crunch. Didn't sound good to me. No worries, as I use a Darkglass Duality Fuzz Pedal.

Kicks the sh.t out of the can down the road. Waited awhile before I wrote a review to get a good belly full of this tank. I am running a 4 x 10 peavey, and a 118 1-18" peavey on this amp and headrush mx5 it thunders anything in its way. Still have the 1000w headliner tour amp as a back up, but don't think I'll have to use it. Going to get a second one for the other tower for stereo. Love this amp, peavey done it again.

Musical Background:

Professional/semi prof. bass player for 55 yrs. with a 20 yr. hiatus's.

I thought this would be a good fit for me but being used to my hybrid DE amp and having alot of choice in sound i find that solid state amps with generic settings dont come close to an ampeg or mesa so im going for a mesa now , Peavey is a good brand but after messing around with these knobs and trying different settings for three days i could only come up with one good sound ,plenty of power nut no good depth or linear sounds out of this one,

I purchased this amp last week and after testing and doing a marothon of 4 hours im not impressed with the overall tone.Even after cycling through all the presets and dials i cannot find a tone that is crisp! It sounds muffled and distant. no pop and no sustain. It seems this amp was sold as an eye catching multi 1000 watt light show not as a bass players wants or needs in tone and value in mind sorry peavy but im going with either a mesa or ampeg next timei have a David Eden 600 watt metro hybrid and it has a better overall tone.I will be sending this one back
