Pearl makes good quality equipment. This is a low end double bass drum pedal but for the price it will do the job. secondary pedal action not as fast as the 1st but with adjustments it gets close. Good for teaching use to help those new to using a double bass pedal.

"Pearl P902 Double Bass Pedal "

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
What a great pedal. I was quite impressed on how easy this pedal is to set up and adjust. Very smooth and it takes only a second to adjust the angle or spring tension or even the power. I had used a DW 7000 pedal for 4years and wanted a change. I tried the Power shifter and havent looked back. For the price and I know there are ones that are higher end, this one is a great investment for a fair price.

"Pretty good pedal"

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I''m rating it a 6. It's a great first pedal (as i first used, as a double pedal). I find if your wanting to go Fast, the pedal just slacks too much on the upstroke. Also single chain drives are a real downer. :( I think you should save up a bit more and get the 2002C's. interchangeable cams, double chain, with the same features as this pedal, and a quad beater, you just cant go wrong.
Features
The duo beater is pretty good, and the power shift function is pretty neat. Also has a single chain and round cam.
Ease of Use
It's a pedal... tension, single chain, foot board angle, beater angle and powershift are all pretty easy to get used to.
Quality
The pedal is made well, i've had no problems with it at all.
Value
It sure is cheap, but for about $80 more, you can get a DOUBLE chain Pearl 2002C eliminator. TNow THAT is an amazing pedal.
Manufacturer Support
haven't needed
The Wow Factor
the footbard looks pretty kinky.

Sound
It's a really good pedal for the price, i play a lot of blast beats like dragonforce. it takes a while to get it to go fast but overall a good pedal.
Features
The beater is amazing, and has a duo-beater, also the pedal it self is good
Ease of Use
Very easy to set up, took me 2 seconds to set up and have been playin for about 6 months
Quality
Quality is good, the chain gets squeaky after a while but can be fixed with wd-40
Value
It's deffinetly worth the cost
The Wow Factor
