Although I do not foresee myself taking this case on the road, the Odyssey FZ1008. It really seems to be extremely well made and study as heck.
This case is replacing my Gator GDJ-8X4, as I was in need of several vertical rack spots but my space is somewhat constrained. I have a podcast studio, but it is somewhat important to me that everything stay somewhat neat and self contained.
I recommend it if you want to consolidate your gear into one spot.

I bought this after 3 years of consideration....whether or not I neede such a rack case, but having all my processors hooked together with a simple 2 cable hookup to my powered speakers really sold me. You buy it once, it's good for life. Extremely rugged, and heavy at 40 + lbs. empty, I have about 9 pounds of processors inside its 8 space configuration. If you are in a home studio only....this is overkill, but if you play out, and need a rack to consolidate your gear....this is the answer. Pay and play worked out really well for me, so.....no regrets.

Love it! Perfect for my Drum Monitor set up. The only thing is when I ordered it No One Told me I could get it with Casters. That would have been nice to know, as I would have ordered it with casters. Other than that Awesome Road Case.

Sound
I have yet to hear a rack produce sound, other than the ones created when I open or close the latches and doors...silly question
Features
This is soooo much better then the previous Odyssey cases I have had. It is lighter, more usable, and perfect for fitting all of the rack effects and my Mackie 1604-VLZ Pro (2) board into. I should have bought the wheel kit too? I am such a dummy!
Ease of Use
Everything out of the box was perfect. It even came with screws! And ones that are the correct thread size so I don't strip every single one!!!
