This is a substantial stand. It is not a lightweight, but it's not heavy either. And the pneumatic assist, well that is really nice- REALLY! I am using for QSC 8.2"s and the stand and speakers look great as a unit. Stand is rock solid! The foot spread is adjustable, a very nice feature. I just received the units- so time will tell as to durability, but based on what I have seen so far- these should last a long time. Very pleased and the cost to value seems outstanding.
