I found that this amp is a good base for tone of you have some good stomp boxes. It takes pedals up front very well and is built sturdy. The classic overdrive channel is perfect for stacking effects or using straight in for blues or classic rock. The high gain channel is where it loses its focus. The high gain channel wasnt usable (for me at least). It sounded like high gain bags of sand grinding through the speaker. When it realy comes down to it i feel its a four star for its quality, its clean/classic gain channel and how well it takes pedals up front. The amp suits me and my pedal board 100%. If the high gain channel was cleaned up itd be a 5.

Small combo, large footprint. 15 watts or 7.5 watts of all tube power, 2 channels, give/volume for each w/ shared EQ. 12" Deletion. Wonderful tone covers all genres with your favorite guitar. Reverb and channel select with foot switch. EQ has bass middle treble and reverb level. Simple controls good speaker, pentode triode switch classic Marshall looks. It kicks ass, get one today and play !

This amp has great classic and ultra gain. my only complaint is there is no effects loop. Thus the 4 raitings in there. I put a Eminence Redcoat in mine to bring up the volume a little. I am going to buy the 100 watt head next

I bought one of these and the white noise coming out of the ultra gain channel was terrible. And that's with no cable even plugged in. So I returned it and got another one and the same thing. Not a little noise, a lot of noise. I love Marshall amps and have been gigging for thirty years but this one is a Dud. How did two of these get out of the Factory like this?
