I bought one of these a week ago. I play sets that go 1-2 hours and my full size Martin was killing my fingers. When I strummed this guitar in the store, I was shocked... Amazing tone. I traded in my DCPa4 and got this, bought a hard case & replaced the pickup to an LR Baggs Lyric, now she sounds fantastic plugged in as well.Comparing this to my GS mini mahogany, the Martin is more full. It has a more broad tonal spectrum, and it has the signature Martin low. Couldn't be happier. It just sounds like a 1k guitar & with the Baggs Lyric I put in, the plugged in sound is so full. I traded in a $1,700.00 Martin for this one, because it sounded as good, it's easier to play, no pain to the fingers, and the trade gave me enough to get a hard case and new electronics! Thrilled!

"Classic Martin Quality and Voice-Perfect Fit"

I’m an amateur noodler. This is my third Martin including a wonderful 0017S. I’m a sit down player so the medium size body shapes are very comfortable. I have had a DX1 Dreadnought which I liked but it just didn’t “fit”. My 17 is very special to me but different from the Jr. obviously. So.... did my homework and bought the all-woodDJr. I love it. It is NOT a compromise in size vs performance! It’s perfect. Not a beginner or so called travel guitar although it would serve the need for concerns when on the road etc. or for smaller framed players. I’m 6.1/190lb. Wide nut, short scale, all wood, Martin quality, and a perfectly shaped fit for me with the iconic Dreadnought sound and projection. Forget about all the other pretenders. This is the one. Buy it. .

Musical Background:

3years. Only guitar. Play at home. Have fender electrics and two Martins. Have owned most major label instruments.

Musical Style:

Easy fingerpicking and strum to play. To listen I like Classic Rock thru Sitar. Wide variety.

I have wanted a Martin for like forever. Most musicians do. They're fine guitars. I got this one last week. It was an excellent price and zZounds gave me great financing terms. Let me tell you it was worth every penny. It has perfect tone and a fantastic action. Plays like a dream. The sound is exactly what I hoped for in a Martin. So glad I finally have one.

Musical Background:

I've been playing 20+ years. I play guitar, bass, mandolin and sing. I played out many years and now record at home.

Musical Style:

Rock.

I have several guitars and I bought this one to play-out. It is an absolute dream to play. I have normal size hands and this one is good for me. Arthritis and several broken bones in my left hand have left me needing a smaller guitar for playing-out. This is the one. It has a full-size sound and a solid spruce top. It is a full body sound and and easy to play. I have yet to play through my LOUD BOX but expecting a good experience. It arrived in a well-packed package and smells great. Fantastic buy for a 3/4 scale instrument.
