Feature:
Great Analog control, like time-traveling back to the Semi-Modular era where the operator was in control of everything. Since it is true to its heritage, it has all of the control of the original Minimoog and more, and some of today's best features like the touchpad.

Quality:
Built like a tank. It has the design of the original Minimoog, without the troubles of easy damage and unstable oscillators (leads to tuning problems) from the original. Definitely solid, but I wouldn't recommend testing how durable it is...

Value:
A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Here in Canada it is something like $6,000 CA, in the states it is cheaper. Funny, because that was the price of a Minimoog in the 70s (it's said that at that point it cost as much as Volkswagen Beetle. That still applies today!).

Desirability:
Looks just like the original, only with a few more controls, a display and a backlight. Since I own the Preformer's Edition, it comes in the same wooden panel that the Original did. It looks great in my rig, sitting right beside an Arp Blue Meanie and a few Moogerfoogers.

Sound:
Exquisite sound quality without losing that renowned fat sound from the original Model D. Outputs very good quality; it's kind of like taking an original 1971 Minimoog, giving it the oscillators of the ARP 2600 and fine-tuning them, taking the filter from the Original Mini, and giving it the sound quality and outputs of the Korg OASYS. If none of that made sense, in long story short it sounds great.

Ease of Use:
To operate this instrument you have to understand synthesis. As I stated, it has all analog control, which could make it a challenge for musicians who are new to [Analog] synthesis to operate the instruments. Definitely not a synthesizer to start out on; if you want something simpler check out some of the older Moogs like the Micromoog or the Prodigy.

Support:
Never dealt with it

Overall:
This machine might as well be a time machine. For people looking for that original fat sound, those neat filters and a lot of symbolic value, here it is. The Voyager.
