Monster Cable MIDI Cable Customer Review

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Features
Only three of the pins are hot (as in, wired). While the MIDI standard only uses the three middle pins there are devices that require the other two pins, making this cable useless.

"Just. Plain. silly."

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars

I'm sure its a fine MIDI cable, but that should cost about $5.
Sound
Exactly the same as a cheap MIDI cable.
Features
All MIDI cables are the same.
Ease of Use
All MIDI cables are easy to use.
Quality
This MIDI cable is exactly the same as a cheap one in terms of quality.
Value
Jitter? Hi speed transport? Data errors? I've used MIDI for 15 years. MIDI transports 8 BITS of data. Thats about all the data being sent by my keyboard cable to type this. And yet, you're supposed to buy into super duper gold plated nonsense connectors to send 8 BITs of DIGITAL data. I hope you don't buy the hype, or waste your money on this cable.
Manufacturer Support
You will not need service on your MIDI cable.
