Lifetime...
Sound
Good cables really do make a difference. Not all lesser expensive cables are bad... but in general you get what you pay for. This cable really does positive affect how my guitar(s) sound.
Features
It is directional... pay attention to the signal flow path... it is there for a reason. The shielding combined with good conductivity of the signal are the key elements.
Ease of Use
One end in the guitar, the other into the amp, DI or effects chain.
Quality
Would not be happy if someone stepped on the ends... but the cable has a lifetime warranty.
Value
1/2 the price of a Zaolla or an Evidence Audio (my other considerations). 3 times the price of my lesser expensive good cables, with at least 4 times the sound reproduction quality.
Manufacturer Support
no dealings yet.
The Wow Factor
You could live without it. But if you have a $2000+ worth of guitar and amp, why connect them with the cheapest cable you can find?

Musical Background:

Solo acoustic, semi-pro for 10 years.
