This arrived in great time. Another online retailer could not deliver and I finally cancelled and bought here. It is a wonderful idea -- and it is working for me. I get fewer neck aches from having to turn one way or another where my Music Stand could fit. With this it is right in front of me, mounted above the bass drum. I'm learning drums and I need to have the sheet music there to figure out new concepts and drills. I had to work with the "S" type bar to find a way to make it work with where I could clamp it on my Tom mounts, and I cannot quite get it absolutely level, but pretty much so. It is a vast improvement, and a great idea. I think it is a little overpriced, but worth having. Surprised nobody thought of such a thing before. This review requires me to make judgements on "Sound" and I can't get any sound out of this so I gave it one star. It also requires a mark for Manufacturer Support which I have not needed to investigate, so I put a "3" having no idea of how good their support would be if I needed to access it.

I needed a Music Stand that I could place ergonomically so that I did not have to crane my neck. This put it right in front of me and no need of a stand on the floor. Takes some working with the clamping to get it where you want it. But it has not slipped or moved since I put it up. Recommend it as a very elegant solution to the problem of where to put stuff for Drummers. Music Stand has no sound -- so ignore the "required" sound rating. I have also not needed the Manufacturer Support -- so ignore that too.
