Definitely thick in the lower mids and not as much top end bite as SD stacked 90's. To my ears they're much closer to PAF humbuckers then the newer, more aggressive P90's. Think they would really excel in the jazzier, mellow spectrum. I did like them, just not was I was looking for out of this particular set up. Will probably put then in my large jazz box.,

I put these on my Eastwood baritone guitar and the improvement over the stock P-90s was night and day. Better tone and plenty of twang with zero hum, everything I wanted them to be. Two thumbs up for Mojotone!
