I actually bought these to be my computer speakers since my KRKs were more than enough for the studio side of the house.
However, I was so impressed with these monitors and the sub that comes with it that I have been using exclusively them when I am producing, and my KRKs when I am DJing.

"Really Great Sound for Certain Applications"

Love zZounds and its quality, speed, service and free two day shipping. Package arrived on time. The sound of these speakers are GREAT however it needs to be used in certain applications. For my style of music I feel that these speakers just are not the right type. They sound great for general music, gaming, or movies.TV. But for true studio monitoring, mixing, production etc I think you should go with another brand. The subwoofer kind of drains the sound (really muddy and boomy)and there is no separate volume option for the sub. Again, for other type of applications this speaker (and sub) works like a charm.
The price is great as well. You will not find a good sounding setup like this for $199.99.
