It is a nylon bag. It protects my new Mackie ProFX22 mixer very well because it is made to fit that mixer. Kind of pricey for a nylon bag, but if it protects my mixer well, it is a good investment. Thanks zZounds.

I think Mackie needs to come out with a hard shell case for this mixer. Certainly the mixer is more at home in a permanent setup inside a club or house of worship. But because of it's light weight and durability, there's a large group of consumers who will buy the mixer to run sound for their own band. In and out of clubs. It makes me nervous to have the mixer protected only by a soft travel case (similar to gig bags for guitars.) You cant' load this in and out of a car as you might with do with other rack cases. But, until there's a slim hard case available, this at least provides handle for carrying the mixer around.
