Lanikai LU-21 Standard Nato Ukulele (Rosewood)

The Lanikai LU-21 offers classic uke tone for a good price. With a Nato body and a Rosewood fretboard, the Lanikai LU-21 sounds great.

"GREAT UKE! (for beginner-intermediate players)"

im probly going to be satisfied with this uke until either it breaks or i somehow all of the sudden get super good and upgrade
Sound
ok so a couple of my friends in jazz band at my high school are really good at the ukulele.. i started getting interested and they said i should start with this uke... so i bought it and i couldnt be more satisfied (except for the tuning). the gear tuners are really nice, but, since the strings are brand new and havent been used at all, they are really tense.. so for the first few days i had to re-tune it about every 10-15 minutes. the front and back shell is kind of thin, but it still sounds nice.. so if you're a beginner and thinking about buying this uke, DONT THINK! JUST GET IT! most likely you wont regret it
Features
just the uke.. no accessories.
Ease of Use
not much learning curve here other than if you arent very good at tuning an instrunment. it comes with a little booklet with the major and minor chords and some 7 chords.. simple common ones like that.
Quality
obviously its a step above the toy models but not as good as if you were to spend a little more on a more expensive model.. but for beginners this is about as good as its gonna get.
Value
very decent price for a model like this.
Manufacturer Support
no problems with zzounds as usual.. except i live in alaska, and there was no option for ground shipping.. so i was forced to get 2 day air.. wich actually took 4 days.
The Wow Factor
theres not a glossy finish, so its good that it doesnt really show finger prints, but kinda doesnt look too classy if you know what i mean.. the rosewood fretboard and bridge are nice though and i like the white outlining is nice

"A fine ukulele"

I have no plans to replace this at anytime in the near future. If it were lost or stolen, I'd think about upgrading. But I'd also be happy buying this model again.
Sound
For an entry-level model, this has a pretty nice sound.
Features
There are no special features, it's a pretty basic design.
Ease of Use
It came with the strings already on it, so all I had to do was tune it and start playing.
Quality
As I noted, it's an entry-level model, but I'm impressed with the quality. I'm sure higher-end models sound better and may be more durable. But for my purposes, this does fine.
Value
Great value, in my opinion.
The Wow Factor
I wanted a basic ukulele I could play, at a good price. This one fits the bill perfectly.

"NICE QUALITY AND SOUND"

Lanikai's quality over all is very good on their ukuleles. This is very nice and is real woods. There is nothing wrong with the instrument if it goes out of tune. As with any nylon strings they need to be stretched in. The G string needs to be stretched a lot. Very nicely priced ukulele.

This is a great little uke for the money. I tuned it when I received it and it was very easy. The tuning stayed for quite awhile before retuning, which is natural to have to do when you have new strings. The sound is great!

This is a very nice soprano uke. The quality is good and the appearance is very nice. The nylon strings make it easy to play. A useful instruction manual is included. Highly recommended!
