Out of the box it was fun to play. Great sound for an inexpensive bass and in the red metallic it looks amazing. Highly recommend for the beginner or as a good back up.

Looked and played well out of the box, but before long the nut holding the 1/4 jack came loose. This happened so many times that eventually one of the wires broke off the 1/4 jack. Cheap, small-gauge wiring.
