"A great little unit!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is my first tuner metronome, and I'm perfectly happy with it, there's nothing I'd change except maybe a choice of tock sounds for the metronome, but really I don't care at all, it's great.
Sound
It seems to tune my acoustic guitar nicely, haven't tried it on electric yet but I'm sure it'll be the same result. Great on my eucalalie as well. The beats sound pretty ordinary, but it is just a timekeeper after all, not a drum kit.
Features
As a tuner and metronome it has all the functions I need, and a headphone socket is handy as well.
Ease of Use
It took half an hour to check out the manual and make the thing work how I wanted it to, no worries.
Quality
So far nothing to complain about at all, seems sturdy enough and well made.
Value
Great value, particularly as a 2 in 1 unit
Manufacturer Support
Just bought it so do not know.
The Wow Factor
Looks good, functional interface

"Awesome little Tuner/Metronome."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I think this is a great tuner with the advantage with the metronome even though i don't need it because i'm a drummer and also play guitar so when i play the guitar i don't really need a metronome. If this breaks down i will definetly but this again.
Sound
Well it's a tuner so i tunes good and the metronome stays in beat and has different typs of beats so it's good...i think.
Features
I like it...lots of features for a tune/metronome.
Ease of Use
Very simple to figure out, nothing complicated about it.
Quality
It's plastic but who cares i've dropped it a bunch and it hasn't broken.
Value
This is the best tune/metronome for it's price it feels like it's worth 50-60 bucks.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed any.
The Wow Factor
Oh it's one sexy tuner.

"Great features EXCEPT tuning function near to useless"

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars

I chose this unit largely to get the metronome bundled with a tuner - I'm happy with the metronome and tap tempo features. But I assumed the tuning function itself would at least be /adequate/, and have found that not to be the case. The needle waves wildly up and down even when playing a steady note - likewise the red LEDs indicating above or below the target pitch blink erratically on and off, and the display showing the current note wavers wildly, showing all different notes, most of which are /not/ the one you're playing. Basically it's useless as a tuner and I had to go back to my old one. Maybe I got a defective unit - if so, I'm sorry I didn't return it when I had the chance. But if this is a common problem, other people should be warned away from this product.

Korg TM40 Tuner/Metronome Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
This is the most amazing little device around. I carry one (or two) around to parties. We end up using it as a voice tuner, and have tons of fun. Yeah, and it tunes my guitar really well. I also hand my mom drumstickes, and have her keep time with the metromone, both with sound, the little red LED, and the needle. At the end I end up giving it away to anyone that is serious about using it to improve their voice. I'm probably the best customer for this Korg...I've given about 8 this year alone. Here's the challenge: Can anyone keep the green light lit by staying in pitch for 5 seconds? No one has yet to claim the $100, but have fun trying. Again, the best!
