Nine synthesis engines that will cause most synthesis experts heads to explode! I can spend a lifetime just understanding the amazing level of control and ease of use of the various synthesis types. From HD-1 to AL-1, the MOD-7 and so on, you have vintage and hybrid synthesis types that should leave you with and immense palette of sonic options to choose from. I love everything about the KRONOS but behold, the synthesis depth is a deep universe if you want to create your own unique, mind boggling sounds. Nothing out there holds a candle to the pristine tones, the amount of power coming out of the amps and myriad of insert effects types. There is nothing like a KORG pad...The crisp nature just takes you out of this world...I was thinking about a Virus TI as an addon to my studio, but then again, what's the point. This thing can do everything any other bread and butter synth can do, but take it to another level that cannot be beat. I think KORG had outdone itself for years to come with the KRONOS. I have owned all of their synths since the TRITON rackmount series and a few worskstation models prior and have always loved the consistency of the workflow. If you don't understand the KORG way of doing things, you might get a bit overwhelmed. But once you learn the flow, everything falls into place. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed about is the lack of knowledge about the various forms of synthesis this thing is capable of. There are ways to create great sounds but for some reason that is being obfuscated from the public. I just wished the masters at KORG would give special synthesis tutorials on all of their engines. The reason they do not do that is probably because there are a number of sound designers out there making a buck off the sacred knowledge. This leaves the average user searching for answers on their own...Still I find it a nice journey to embark on for the rest of our KRONOSCOPIC life...

This keyboard so many amazing sounds in it. The board has an amazing feel for a weighted keyboard. You can’t get the same sounds from any other keyboard. I really feel it’s the best
