Sound
Great Sound once you can get the strings to STAY in tune. Big problem is that the intonation is terrible- Mine is totally off key by the time I get to the third fret. Produces a great sound through any amp that I used and it's fun to play. I'm going to give it another week to see if the strings stretch out. But for $400.00 + it ends up being an very expensive Toy and if I can't get the intonation under control - it will be returned.

Easy to use once you get used to the short scale.

Nice looking, but not sure where my problem originates. So lets call it factory control.
Value
It's fun to play and has a grat sound, but over priced for what it is. Would feel better about the price if the intonaton was set correctly ( There is no way to adjust it ).
Manufacturer Support
Haven't contacted the company about a return, but they have solid reputation, so Im not worred.
The Wow Factor
Wouldn't consider it to have sex appeal, but it is a good conversation piece.

I played piano as a kid and wanted an instrument to use in a small setting for house church. This little bass is fantastic. I am having a great time learning to play it and accompany an acoustic. I am using the little "Fender Champ 600" . Very happy.
