I have a Blackstar 4x8 cabinet and it is a great quality product, yet the sound of the 4 Blackbird 15 speakers is on the "darker" side, clear but too much low end for my taste. I was barely able to play with the BASS knob on the Amp (Jet City Pico Valve). I was looking for a brighter speaker and had chosen the Jensen C8Rs over the Celestion Eight 15. I only replaced 2 of the Blackbird 15, just to see if the sound improves, and ... ,what a difference. So I will buy 2 more C8Rs to replace all the blackbird 15s , that will get my sound where I like it. The mounting holes are exact the same, so the replacement was very easy.

Bought to upgrade practice amp. I didn't expect much change. But the sound quality was noticibly better. More responsive to BMT levels and I could really turn up the Gain with it sounding terrible. Well worth the small investment. Features, there really aren't any and had no issues with the product.

I wanted to have a more vintage Fender sound for my Fender 15 amp, and this fits the bill perfectly!
Sound
This speaker is bright and punchy, especially around the 10th fret on B string. If you find yourself always going to the 2/4 pickups on your Strat, then this is the speaker for you. Late breakup, and good clean tone means you can play at a higher gain and still stay clean. Overdrive sound is very close to vintage I feel.
Features
No features, it is just a speaker.
Ease of Use
I used this as a replacement speaker in my 20+ year-old Fender 15. The original speaker mounting holes were elongated along the rim, on this Jensen Speaker, the holes are enlongated radially....just fit, but it does fit.
Quality
This speaker is made in Italy. It seems very rugged....much better than the original speaker.
Value
I think this comes very close to Vintage sound, and is a real bargin.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to deal with them.
The Wow Factor
Well, it is a speaker, but it does give a "vintage" look to my Fender 15 when you look in the back.
