"PRX815s sound great! BUT...."

I've had a hard time trying to set up the external control of the speakers with my Ipad. Then after reading reports on line, it doesn't sound like using that method to 'tune' your speakers works properly, so I abandened trying to set that control up. My Line6 Md20 mixer can do all of that nicely!

They sound pretty damm good but for power my Mackie 15a have more power, don’t sound as good. I like the connect app but overall not worth the money. The specs they give you is not accurate(spl). If you have it your budget SRX815 is the way to go.

"Not as powerful as the PRX715 Speakers"

Controllers must not have enough of a pre-amp as they don't sound good with these speakers when my old pair PRX715's used to bump hard with the same Pioneer DDJSX2 controller. I have to turn the volume all the way up when with the PRX715's I could keep it at 50%. Miss the Equalizer too.

These speakers are awesome! Clear and powerful for a 7 piece band with horns.

Just bought a pair of these thinking they would be a vast improvement over my JRX15's...Was I ever wrong. My 5 year old JRX 15's sound way better with more punch and clarity. These things constantly clip even at lowest power. Going back ASAP and exchanging them for a non powered version!
