These sound amazing! I did all my production using headphones for over a decade but finally have a space that i could have monitors in and got these because of their positive reviews. For my small space they are perfect. They can get surprisingly loud and the bass is better than i expected.

I had the older 8" Lsr2328P's for years and loved them. The amp in one of them went out, and long past the warranty coverage. I ended up getting these and matching them with the Cerwin Vega *" studio sub. I have a small (about 15X19) room, well treated. After a few practice mixes to learn the low end, my mixes have been even better than before. The midrange clarity and depth on these is outstanding. Especially at the price point. The detail is amazing.... its much easier to get a good mix, especially in the midrange with vocals, snares, reverb trails, etc. its all just right there, and with a nice wide sweet spot. My first couple mixes were a touch on the bright side. but turning up the hf trim solved that instantly. I couldn't recommend these more for small, home, or project studios, or as a 2nd reference set in a more Professional setup.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about these speakers - they are incredible speakers and when you take into account the price it's almost too good to be true for those interested in high quality sound. zZounds was extremely helpful throughout the process and when one of the speakers arrived with a faulty IEC cable (power supply cable) zZounds shipped me a new one with overnight shipping at no cost. Upon arrival, I was super happy with the packaging and speedy delivery. I purchased the with the nano patch and all arrived unharmed. Been using since the 1st of February in my living room and have had NO problems whatsoever. The sleek look really makes them pop out for aesthetics. The bundle came with the foam bases and it really helped with getting a good left and right, ear level set up. The Tone compared to my last set of near field monitors is outrageous. Bass response is just slightly hot for my taste to mix on, but I haven't done a bit of tweaking to any part of my set up. Straight out the box, ready to use, very easy set up, and phenomenal clarity for the price. I recommend to every beginner to expert audiophile, technician, engineer, etc. Using with a standard 2 input behringer audio interface with windows 10.

After a LOT of research I decided on these for my monitors. Very glad I did. They sound amazing no matter what I use them for. Right now I have them as my main speakers for my PC, my guitar processor, and my gaming rigs. Plenty of power for anything I need, plenty loud. I wanted something that didn't color whatever I was putting into them. When I'm dialing in a preset on my guitar processor, I know exactly what it'll sound like when playing through my headphones or my FRFR wedge, or what's going to front of house. Great monitors at a great price! Got them sitting on a set of IsoAcoustics stands, I highly recommend something like that as well to help isolate them from your desk.

Like everyone will tell you, these speakers are an amazing value and I am still blown away by the clarity of the music. Unlike a lot of posts here, I actually purchased these purely for music listening with my PC and Technics turntable. I originally purchased a pair of Bose Companion 20's, but after more research realized the value of these made them not the best option for my setup. I plugged these speakers in once they arrived and was very glad that I invested my money in these. Now, to be perfectly honest, the Bose held their own and I didn't feel like they were necessarily "bad," it's just that they got their sound through post-processing and I felt like there were a lot of compromises in the mixed playback just so the bass could ring through. These JBL's are a zero compromise speaker and you will hear EVERY detail that is present. If you listen to a lot of hip-hop like I do, then you will notice a few bass notes not ring through (second half of Kendrick Lamar's DNA comes to mind). A simple sub fixes this however. Now, for Classic Rock, Alternative, Electronic and Jazz, these speakers are absolutely perfect. Without a sub, they do cut out occasionally when the bass goes below a certain frequency, but that is not a reflection of the build quality, more of a compromise you make when using a 5" woofer. These speakers are amazing and you should buy them for music listening as much as for mixing. These monitors are pretty good. I'm having a much easier time dialing in the lower frequencies compared to mixing with a pair of loudspeakers. I REALLY would have liked to have seen the power button on the front of the cabinet instead of in the back. I really like that zZounds sells the pair with the free starter kit. I didn't use the volume control but I used the cables and the isolation pads. The foam pads were actually much better than I expected for the price (free). I expected some flimsy junk really, but it's the real high density stuff and seems to work pretty well. I was expecting to go back and forth between these and my loudspeakers, using the monitors to mix and reference, and the loudspeakers for entertainment purposes. But I just use these all the time. If I want to watch a movie or play a game on my computer, I just reach around back and boost the bass. Nothing spectacular, but I am pleased with the purchase and zZounds is awesome, their payment plans are the workingman's best friend!

I Have been using 8'' Rokit and Samsun studio monitors for the last 12 years in my home studio. Switching to smaller studio monitors (jbl lsr305) and a studio subwoofer was the BEST THING I COULD HAVE EVER DONE!! JBL is far superior when it comes to studio monitors compared to samsun and rokit! and the subwoofer is such a treat to have. ALL STUDIOS NEED A SUBWOOFER in my opinion for (hiphop edm type music)

This is my fist set of studio monitors and am really impressed with the quality sound these produce. Using them for home DJ/ remixing on an all vinyl set up and my mixes have never sounded better. These powered studio monitors have a really great sound. I've compared them with several models in the price range, and these have the best response. These monitors are very good for the price. I find them to be a little colored in teh low mid area, but for what i needed them for they are perfect. I bought the JBL package with these that included the cables, volume control, and ISO pads. The pads are pretty decent, the volume control was reallly not needed (for me) But i think for the cables and the iso pads it was worth $40 extra I paid. Overall these are terrific, and they are highly rated for a reason. They wont disappoint.

Phenomenal monitors for a great price. Worth every penny. I have had experience with Mackies, M-Audio, Behringer, and Alesis monitors all in the same price range and none of them can compare to these Beauties. Would recommend these to everyone. And zzounds hooked me up with mopads and a volume attenuator included as well as the balanced xlr to 1/4" cables. In this price range I believe it doesn't get much better than this.

Awesome Monitors! If your on a budget these are well worth it. The sound very crisp - not the best for critical monitoring but as a secondary reference They are damn good - They sound a bit more musical than a standard near field monitor - a little more lively. Cant go wrong with these!
