I had a set of JBL 115's for around 7 years and have used them every weekend. They held up better then I expected, they still looked good and sounded great. I knew it was time to replace them if for nothing else "peace of mind" knowing i have upgraded my equipment (bragging point for my clients lol) I was ecstatic to see that my very same speaker was still available in an upgraded version now the 215's. the price is still a great value and the sound is excellent and I have the comfort of knowing I now have many years with these new speakers that i know i can rely on. Thank you JBL!!

I started out using JBL speakers over 30 years ago. I was overwhelmed then by their sound, endurance, quality and apoearance. Currently purchased a different series of speakers and still I'm highly impressed. They exceeded my expectations again. These are some very nice speakers, crisp highs and clarity is great.

"Great bang for the buck"

Bought a pair of these several years ago because of the JBL name. After 4 years of running sound for a Grateful Dead/Jam band, these have held up amazingly well!!
Sound
These have a great high end and lots of boost in the middle to bottom end. I will admit that I cross them over with a pair of JBL subs or in bigger rooms 4 JBL subs. They sound best in a tight room but do well in any situation including out doors in a medium sized venue.
Features
These speakers travel in a trailer with no case or cover and I feel that the carpet s a better match for riding around and scuffing against other equipment!
Ease of Use
Plug and play...
Quality
Even at the bottom of the JBL lineup, these are a great ban for the buck! At least 4 years of trailer travel and 30+ shows a year these are still going strong!!!
Value
Great Value!
Manufacturer Support
No issues still!
The Wow Factor
A cheap intro road worth speaker for the starting band!

good, bought it to match and older 115, i like the look of the newer 215 but with all black logo and all, a little clearer sound than the old 115.
