"Great guitar, with a few small flaws"

This guitar is a mixed bag. It's a fantastic value, the fretwork is good for this price range, however there are a few strange flaws that do not effect the tone, or playing in general. I have what looks to be paint smudges by the scarf joint, and random paint spots on or near the fretboard binding. Overall, looking past that, I love the guitar. It plays nicely, came set up pretty much spot on right out of the box. I'm just a little disappointed in the cosmetic blemishes. In this price range, they should be minimal to none. If you're looking for a guitar that will play great, and can handle a few impurities in the finish, get this!

This Jackson Soloist 7-string electric guitar is by far the best guitar Ive ever held in my hands, and I've played quite a few in my life. Obviously, its no Gibson, but the build quality is top notch. It sounds amazing due to the Seymour Duncan's 7-String Blackstar Active Pickups, and the sustain is absolutely incredible. I recommend this beast of a guitar to anyone hoping to play amazing metal riffs .
