"Best Plug in I own"
As someone who does recordings in large spaces with small delicate ensembles, I constantly curse atmospheric noise. I am completely blown away with RX2 and its ability to save just about anything. It takes some work to get results, but its every bit worth it. Who would have thought my favorite, best value plugin would be a utility that you shouldn't ever hear...

"High Quality Audio Saver"
For the price, very awesome results!
Sound
I've been able to salvage some clients wedding videos and clean live performance takes...The key to this plugin is doing multiple light passes, with many A/B's. You can get some amazing results, but not CEDAR level (which would be 10).
Features
The main features are great and being able to A/B and /C every step of the process si quite nice and valuable. Not to mention that its essentially non-destructive unless you save...
Ease of Use
Depends on how good your ears are and your experience with audio restoration is, but the controls and parameters are clearly laid out and the accompanying .pdf manual is very easy to read/follow.
Quality
This plugin has never given me issues, in fact, everything I've tried from Izotope has been flawless, great company with an amazing track record!
Value
You'd be foolish to pass this plug up for some overpriced, poor-supported "noi-Z". The features and sound quality for the price are worth it.

The Wow Factor
Izotope had a little contest to use the plug to create "images" from the spectrogram of the wave forms...having the spectrogram overlaid on the waveform made it look very cool, and furthermore, easy to interpret!

this works perfect and it doesn't cost as much as Waves... you have to careful with settings... don't push to hard... and you will get magic.
