"ALERT **** DO NOT BUY **** ALERT"

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Although I seem to have lucked out and got one that actually works, there is NO support for this item. itab seems to have folded shop, no tab store, no answers to support requests. I am totally fed up and am not the one to talk to really. There are about 100 songs that came installed, if you are happy with those 100 songs then go for it but that's all you get.

Musical Background:

I have been playing since I was 8 or 9 so for over 50 years.

Musical Style:

Oldies, but they weren't oldies when I learned them. Hill Country and Terlingua desert and Mustang Island thrown in.....

"Does this unit work as advertised"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
What they should have done, beside have a unit that works as advertised, it to have included a SD slot so that you could have increased the song storage capabilities as the unit is limited to 4GB or about 2,500 songs.
Sound
Small speaker, but adequate for its purpose.
Features
It comes with a guitar clip for the headstock, a soft bag for storage, a charger and USB connection plus a video out for TV and earphone.
Ease of Use
Simple and interactive touch screen menus.
Quality
This is hard to judge, it appears solid but I'm not sure if my problems are hardware or software related.
Value
If the unit works as advertised, then this is a good value, but to date I have been unable to obtain a unit that works.
Manufacturer Support
I have had problems with the first unit, zZounds replaced it without question, but my 2nd unit also has problems. These are not zZounds issues, they are manufactures issues. I have contacted the manufacturer and am waiting for them to provide a solution. The search feature of the unit does not work and turns of the unit most times as well the unit locks up while scrolling a song, making it unusable for performances. I am not sure if I just have had bad luck and received 2 bad units or if they are not well constructed or possibly they have weak software installed.
The Wow Factor
Yes, I want one that works! The concept is awesome and when you consider that you could combine it with a set of personal sunglasses that project a large screen TV in front of you, the possibilities are awesome for those of us that can't remember the chords and words to a few thousand songs.
