ISP Decimator Pedal Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
It sounds like silence. When it's on, it sounds like your amp is off, no hum, no buzz, no feedback. All of your intended notes come through loud and clear, with no tone interference, and no effect on your sustain. I advise turning it off if you switch to a clean channel, or turn down your guitar's volume as it can cut some quieter notes off.
Features
The only control is the threshold sensitivity, which is all it needs. Makes for a very user-friendly interface.
Value
More expensive than other units, but if you're serious about killing noise, this is the best so be ready to fork over those extra clams.
The Wow Factor
The awesome mirrored-metal casing is awesome and definitely desirable, even sexy. Of course it's performance alone should put it on the top of any gainhead's wish list.

"The King OF ALL NOISE GATE PEDALS!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

This pedal eliminates all noise, hiss, and feedback. If you play guitar very well, it will expose your talents. If you you don't play to well, it will expose this as well because you won't have the feedback from your amp to disguise your mistakes.(So,practice!) What makes this noise reduction pedal the best on the market is that you will not loose any of your sustain or harmonics from your guitar. And, when you stop playing, dead silence. Wow! I was blown away! Next to my Hard Wire Delay /Looper pedal, this is my favorite non effects pedal. Don't believe the reviews. This noise gate will NOT color your tone or take any thing away from the sound of your amp. If you want some feed back from your amp, just dial back a little on your control knob and you'll still sound great! This pedal is very versatile and you can do some creative stuff with it.
Features
One knob. One simple feature.
Ease of Use
Very easy to use! It WILL eliminate all feed back and hiss from your high gain amp. Guaranteed! Just turn the knob!
Quality
This pedal was very well made. Solid casing and built like a Sherman tank!
Value
The pedal is worth every penny and more!
Manufacturer Support
None needed. Simple to use.

"One knob. Kills noise dead."

I would never trade this pedal. I have been using this for the past 7 years. It's great!
Sound
This pedal really shines if you are a gain-freak. It's quiet - very quiet. That's exactly what you want!
Features
One knob. Kills noise dead.
Ease of Use
One knob. Kills noise dead.
Quality
I have always been a fan of HUSH technology and was excited to find out that the original inventors improved upon it by making the Decimator. Out of all my pedals I've used over the past seven years I have never once thought of selling it. Because I play with a lot of gain this has become a mainstay in my rig. It has also taken plenty of abuse going around the world and being dropped more times than I can count. It is a solid performer and keeps unwanted noise at bay. Cheers to ISP for putting together such a great no-nonsense pedal.
Value
Worth every penny.
The Wow Factor
It's practical. Playing rock I really needed something to keep out any unwanted squeals. This is the best I've tried in a foot pedal config.
