"NOT a mono recorder. The mic preamp is not stereo though. Gotta use Line in."

Listen, if you know what you're in for you can have a good time using this. Never use the mic preamp, it blows chunks. Use the line in connector with either a mic preamp, or just use it as a line recorder or to record your vinyl. It's absolutely fine for that. And do not record to .wav, only to .mp3. And get yourself a usb flash drive that it works with reliably and use that. It doesn't get consistent results with all flash drives. But if you get a good one that it works with, and I've had good results with both Kingston and Cruzer, both of which are common and inexpensive. Bearing all those caveats in mind, it should work pretty well. Not the most reliable recorder I've owned, but it's not too bad.

"Its only a MONO not STEREO recorder!"

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars

Its only a MONO not a STEREO recorder! I was shocked to discover this after digitalizing a few vinyls! Sound's quality in WAV or 320 MP3 is good, but it is only mono recording! it is not mentioned ANYWHERE in the specs. Such a disappointment. I would not recommend this device to any person interested in recording music. Good as a voice recorder though.
