"It got me at hello... only the hello was in a sexy bass language"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
there is no need to look for another bass pedal
Sound
My friend (whom I was in a band with) got this pedal for christmas a year ago and i just started jamming with his bass n' pedal. considering the crappy amp it was connected to, it made some great sound; it had nice, shaped distortion, with the chug still there.
Features
i'm not too familiar with bass pedals, but i've seen enough to know this thing has enough options to make sure you'll never need another distortion pedal; lev, low, high, dist, att, mode.
Quality
i love the nobs; how they lock inside the pedal. i feels strong and sturdy and i'm sure it can take a fall of a small house
Value
it has a perfect price - $50
Manufacturer Support
it's not my pedal, but i haven't heard him ranting about how it crapped out (and i doubt it has), so i can't answer this question, but i'm sure ibanez can take care of any problems...i mean, it is ibanez
The Wow Factor
i'm confused by this question a bit, but if i'm being asked what i think i'm being asked, yes, this pedal is goddam sexy. i'd spend a tiring and restless night of endless love with it...

"Balls Without Sacrificing Bottom"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If they made a quieter version of this pedal. I'd replace it. but I've never heard a bass distortion pedal that cuts without sacrificing bottom like this one does.
Sound
This is the only decent bass distortion pedal I've ever heard which is why I bought it. I play it through a Peavey Megabass head & an 18" PAS speaker. I usually have the attack on2, the mode on DIST, the his on 3 & the other knobs on 7-8 & I get thick fuzzy distortion that cuts through without sacrificing bottom. It's great for my rock power trio. But when I recorded with it going direct, it didn't have the same balls. My other critique about it, it amplifies amp hiss like crazy; better get a noise gate. I'm still looking for a good one.
Quality
It is extremely durable.
Manufacturer Support
I attempted to get it fixed to reduce hiss from the company. No luck.
The Wow Factor
It has definitely added a new dimension of sound in my rock band. I'd hate to have to do without it.

"straight evil"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
i will prob use it for a while. i'd replace it if it was lost or stolen
Sound
it sounds really good. better than the boss. i like to use the overdrive but the distortion is better too. I'm using this with an Ibanez SR400, Ampeg BA112, and Boss limite/enhancer compression pedal. doesn't change tone at all when off. i'm using this to play around and come up with cool solos and stuff like that.
Features
it has clean, overdrive, and distortion on it. it has an attack knob which changes the sound like set on 2 it can make clicking fret buzz type sounds like Fieldy from Korn but it amplifies so much amp static that it isn't useful at all unless you have a noise gate pedal. it has low and high EQ knobs so you can play with the distortion's sound and get more low end. pretty useful.
Ease of Use
it's easy to get sweet sounds out of this. the EQ is really tight. tweak the low end and high end. it is easy to use with other pedals and doesn't suck any tone at all when turned off
Quality
the product ios pretty sturdy. it is really reliable and i am not worried it will break. seems like it will last a while.
Value
it's about half the price of the Boss ODB-3 and sounds just as good.
Manufacturer Support
dunno haven't dealt with them lol
The Wow Factor
it's features and designs are really sweet. it's an ugly pedal but rocks. shouldn't judge things cuz of it's looks cuz this pedal sounds good.
