"Best Practice Amp Ever!!!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I am defenitly very satisfied with this amp. If you are playing shows and stuff like that, this wouldnt be the amp for you. Its only 20 Watts, which means its mainly for practice. But dont get me wrong, you can still get this thing loud!
Sound
This is a great starter amp! It has an awesome sound, with a low end punch t it. Im sure some bigger amps have better sound, of course (which is why I gave it a 9) but for beginners, I would give this amp a 10!! And with 20 Watts, it's still pretty loud.
Features
Defenitly has very good features. Has Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence knobs, and a 10DB bass boost gain, which sounds really great. It also has CD inputs (so you can plug in your CD player and play along with it) and headphone jack.
Ease of Use
Not hard to use at all!!! Just plug the cord in and adjust the sound to how you want it, and play!
Quality
Made very well, can take a pretty good beating. Ive had mine for a while now, and It has done really good.
Value
VERY GOOD PRICE for this good of an amp!
Manufacturer Support
Havent had any experiences with the company or anything, but I havent needed any repairs or stuff like that.
The Wow Factor
Has a very good apperance. The blue switch that lights up when you turn it on is pretty cool too.

"Great practice amp"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I can't believe others are dissing this AMP because it can't compete with drums and guitar. Guess what? It isn't meant to. You think something the size of my 9 inch TV is going to accomplish that? Of course not. This thing is exceptional for what it is...a PRACTICE amp. No rattles, solid sound, solid built, great lows...for a PRACTICE amp! When I was looking for a practice AMP, I tried brand new, Kustom DE50, although it sounded great.it was more than I needed and way out of my budget. I then tried a Fender Rumble 15. I wasn't pleased with it at all. Not one bit. Then I tried a Peavey. It was a little better than the Fender, but not much. Running out of stores, I checked out a pawn shop and ran into a dusty SW20. I already have an Ibanez 100SW and it can hang in a band, no problem so I was anxious to try this. I was amazed how much better it sounded than the new Peavey or Fender. Way better. So I bought it and took it where I was headed to play a home practice gig (no drums, small amps). It sounded GREAT. Two years later, it still does. BTW, I gave 5 stars for support because it wanted something, but I never dealt with support. Guess since I haven't, then that deserves 5 stars.

"For a practice/starter combo...you can't overlook this..."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Ok, remember that its only a 20W amp, but for a litte thing it goes great, its not going to cut if for a studio session or playing against drummers etc, but for PRACTCING, its perfect, great punch, the 10db helps, good tone and playing with a bass that has active pickups adds to it
Features
Basic and to the point, just what you want in a practice amp. It does what it should. Having a line in for a CD player (or other external music source like an MP3 etc) is awesome, I haven't actually used this function yet but it's nice knowing it's there LOL
Ease of Use
Plug and play, can't much easier than that.
Quality
I've only had it for a few days so it hasn't been roughed around yet and I generally take good care of my stuff anyway, but it feels and sounds solid, no "show" bits that aren't needed. It's very basic so I think it will last.
Value
I paid NZD$299 for it and normally I would think it would be a bit much for a combo this size but when I heard it, it sounded very decent and thought, well, why not?
Manufacturer Support
I have not needed to use support and doubt I will. There's not a lot that can go wrong with it.
The Wow Factor
How would I rate the "sex appeal"? LOL its a small combo...we all know bigger is better! I would say this is like the drunk one night stand you DONT tell your friends about....

"this crazy good practice amp"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i am goin to get another one in aout a year because i want a pedal but the pedal is as much as the amp with the pedal built in so i think ill just get that instead
Sound
this is an awesome amp but it is quiet, if ur goin to play in a band i would consider a different amp becuse the drums will just cover up ur sound, this amp has a wide range of sounds and is pretty good i would deffinitly recomend it
Features
the most useful feature is the 10db gain it helps a lot but is not enough, i think...
Ease of Use
this is the best practice amp, cause it is simple and small
Quality
i have played on this amp for about a year and is still as good as when i bought it
Value
this amp was cheap, real cheap
Manufacturer Support
nope i never had to even go back to them after i bought this product
The Wow Factor
this amp is not this best looking but who really cares

"dont buy this amplifier"

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i hate it
Sound
This amp is completely terrible. The only way i can get it to almost compete with the guitar and drums is to turn everything up except only turn the middle and presence up about half way.
Features
terrible
Ease of Use
it gets distorted really easily. it will also pick up radio waves from an antenna about 10 miles from my house.
Quality
The thing was a waste of money.
Value
i shouldnt have paid more than 20
Manufacturer Support
no

"Kick ass little amp!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Good Amo. Way to go Ibanez!
Sound
I have an older Dean Markley bass amp, and really don't want to take ot to college with me. Having played this amp, it gets good, solid tone, despite the fact that its only 20watts. I've used it while jamming out some AIC and Black Sabbath tunes with my uncle and cousin in a upstairs room. The sound can easily fill the room.
Features
Its got our standard features, and I was using a 10+ year old bass with it and managed to get a pretty decent sound.
Ease of Use
Its very playable, easy controls. sounds good!`
Quality
I neverv really inspected it (the amp belongs to my cousin) but I know he never has had any problems with it. Seems to be pretty well built.
Value
This is a damn good little amp. Worth the money.
Manufacturer Support
Not rating this because we haven;t had to call.
The Wow Factor
Going off to college in a few months and I definetly want this amp to accmpany me. Good tone, its well built and seems to be reliable.
