Sound
Its hard to get better tone out of a bass than when you start with good quality wood. Mahogany body + maple neck + maple fingerboard = even, solid, versitile tone. Bartolini pups and pre don't hurt either. Even sounding tone overall, but some emphasis on the low mids and highs. Hey, its a mahogany body and maple neck/board; this is to be expected. :-)
Features
Bartolini pups and pre. Ibanez SR neck design. Nothing more to say.
Ease of Use
I play fingerstyle most of the time, and I have big, thick fingers. That said, the narrow string spacing on this bass is not only managable, but very comfortable for me.
Quality
Its an Ibanez. These are the highest quality mass-production guitars in the world!
Value
This bass could cost double this amount, and it would still be a great value.
Manufacturer Support
I had a problem with one of my old basses (Ibanez SR406), and Ibanez did great with support.
The Wow Factor
Gonna get it!

This bass I had ordered and was defective, the bass was replaced 4 times and all times the I recieved the bass they were all defective with very sharp edges on treds and many noticable skratches. Very Disapointing! also, the shipments sent in damaged boxes no securely shipped...
