If you’re on the fence about getting this bass just get it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! It sounds great and plays great. I received it in late February of 2020 and due to climate and altitude changes from where it shipped to and from I did have to do minimal truss rods (yes there are 2 in the neck) adjustments for some string buzz on the first fret. This came supplied with the necessary tools and instructions in the manual which made it easy. You can get so many tones out of this bass, from “old school” thump to modern metal with all of the controls. My band mates have all praised how great this bass sounds. Haven’t been able to gig with it yet due to current events (review written in September 2020) but am looking forward to when I will be able to. It is quite large and a little heavy so if that is an issue it may not feel right for you, but for me it’s great! I purchased a Gator TSA Bass Case for this as well which fits it perfectly . Overall it sounds great, plays great, no sharp frets, or issues with intonation. If you are willing to do a little work or pay someone to adjust the truss rods if needed, you will have a great 6 string bass.
Sound
This bass works great with my playing and musical style. Make sure to utilize the controls correctly for its fullest potential and experiment with this and your other gear.
Ease of Use
Very easy to get good sounds from this bass, you just have to play with the controls and don’t crank everything to 11.
Quality
This bass is made well, however with it being a natural finish with only a “stain” and no lacquer coating having dings or knicks in certain parts of the body may show more pronounced in the long run, but hey some battle scars give character to your instrument!
Value
This bass is worth it and so much more. Whether you are a beginner looking to get into playing a 6 string bass or a seasoned vet you won’t break the bank with this purchase.
Manufacturer Support
I have had no need to reach out to the manufacturer and don’t think I will have to.

Put a couple hours on the SR306EB. And this is my opinion on it...... Obviously others may have different thoughts on this bass.Obviously like rest of SR line it has a fast neck with 16.5mm string spacing. The B120 bridge could be better. It's not horrible. But personally I like more adjustability, along with aesthetics. but not a deal breaker.Tuners are meh. But all this is expected for 300 line.Where it shines with the electronics. The power tap switch added some great growl to pick-ups. And I can change the color of sound with a flip of the switch. My Bass came in at 9lb 1oz.I will keep it around. and would recommend it for people getting into the 6 string game or even another 6 string. It's worth checking if you're on the fence. The issues with bridge and tuner's are just due to personal taste in gear. I'm set in my ways, and usually run mono-rail's. Tuners are a cheap and easy upgrade.I played thru my Darkglass A*O 500 head and Peavey Mini Max. Using Hartke HD210.
Sound
Electronics give a wide tone range from Metal to Blues. But shines in the Metal arena. Power tap gives a great growl to output
Features
It's light with great electronics out the gate. Body is Mahogany, so it is soft which with get dings easier. Tuners are OK but not great
Ease of Use
I already play 6-string basses. But the SR line has fast necks. So 5 to 6 will be easy. 4 to 6 will take getting use to. But won't be bad.
Quality
Only have couple hours on it. But I don't see any real long term issues with it. With tuner swap it will last just like my 97 SR400(which is going strong to this day)
Value
This bass is worth it price point. And is worth adding to your arsenal.
Manufacturer Support
I am a dedicated Ibanez player for a reason. I've never had any real issues with any of their basses. Ams few contacts I've ever made(tuners swaps) was easy.
The Wow Factor
Most of my basses are Premium line. But I heard great things about the electronics. So I gave it a shot, and glad I did. Standard line is still a great value. My 97 SR400 is still my most loved bass.

Play Metal with heavy bass driven music. Would call it lead bass style. Also run thru softer tones. Because I write Bass lines t

This is so good. I've been looking for a decent 6-string for months and grabbed this guy. It's setup wonderfully and was almost perfectly in tune after shipping. No blemishes or scratches. This guy is great and exactly what I've been after in my head for a very long time.

I like this bass a lot, have had it for about 2 months now. Have gigged with it twice, and it delivered! The pickups are maybe a bit lack luster, but just in general I'm not a huge fan of active pickups (at least not these ones). With a pickup swap, this will be set as one of my mains! One more thing would be getting a setup, but I got this bass during the winter, so obviously the trust rod was bunk out of the box. But it's not a huge problem. Overall a great purchase, well worth the price!
