Perfect !!!! I can't say enough, I put flatwound stings on, pluged it in to my ampeg tube amp and I love it either with the eq active or not, I get that deep rich 70's tone I wanted. I am very pleased with the bass. The neck is fast and I am sure faster that I am. I am sure if you change the strings for a brighter sound and adjust the eq you can get what ever sound your chasing. Thank you Ibanez. A lefty worth owning that didn't break the bank.

Musical Background:

Ive played off and on for 30 years, only at home. maybe for the church band soon

Musical Style:

Rock, Motown,Blues and most of all Christian Rock or modern Christian music.

Some may not like the SR but for me the neck works with my small hands. Also don't understand why some say they can't get the 50's 60's sound, I changed the strings to flat wound and worked with the eq and the amp and I am happy. The body and finish are nice. The neck was straight, I didn't have to take it to a specialist for adjustment like I have some others in the past. I like the gold hardware some don't hey different things for different people. For the money this is a good base, it looks better than the price tag but not as good as some really high end but good luck finding a lefty. Also can't rait Manufacturer support if it's never been used.

Musical Background:

Bass, jam at home and church

Musical Style:

Christian, The Blues, 50's to 80's Rock. Mostly at home but do fill in at Church once in a while just because they need the help
