I have been playing JS series for over 15 years and own almost every model made. I ordered the JS24P a couple months ago and to my amazement it is the smoothest best sounding Ibanez yet. I play live with 30k of equipment and small gigs with lesser rig as well as Studio work dry and with my rig. All are perfection. There is a little noise if you don't get the pickups set just right, but nothing anyone cant live with. The best part is how smooth the neck plays and the electronics that gets that sound out is amazing. I play a lot of harmonics natural and pick and I can get anything I need without hoping it works. Playing guitar for over 30 years I think this and the 1200 series are the best of Ibanez. That's my 2 cents worth.

Having played the JS-1000 for years I tried many JS series guitars and bang for the buck the new JS24P is worth every dollar spent. Neck is super sweet, Sound and versatility is mind blowing with the split pickup pull knobs and High Pass filtering for those screaming leads. It is now my main Gig guitar!

I heard that the JS series guitars are great. I been playing it since Tuesday. I been loving it. i love the sounds that it gives. plus its lighter than my Epiphone. so this is a huge step up form that.
