I picked up this acoustic after playing for a solid year, consistently. Something I've not been able to do with any hobby... When searching for a 'next level' guitar, I was focused on finding a parlor style with a nice bluesy tone as I've been gravitating in this direction with my playing. I checked out some of the mid price range parlors and they felt a little manufactured, rather than having a nice wood feel. A friend turned me on to Ibanez and I began looking at their latest model line. The AVN06 appeared with a halo around it and it had been exactly what I wanted to find the whole time. I took a chance and spent the extra loot. It was well worth it. In looking at and researching the previous models of the same guitar, I noticed, it looks as if Ibanez went through and upgraded every individual aspect of the guitar and gave it a real nice feel - great to play!

Nice little Parlor guitar with that vintage Mojo vibe. I liked the distressed look, slotted headstock with aged nickel tuners. Sitting on the stand, it looks the part, although I wish it had a satin finish. Instead it has a shine to it that doesn't go along with the "distressed" look. However, it easy to play, has a wonderful warm sound for what I do. I keep it in open D and play some blues riffs and I happy with it.

Musical Background:

Guitar, bass and drums at home with family and friends. Record at home.

Musical Style:

Rock & Roll, Blues with a little country mixed in.
