I needed a new bass amp to fit into a small space for use with a 5string, This fit the bill exactly, 15" speaker for those extra low notes with no waffling and lots of volume. Lightweight and just small enough to fit between the rails of an equipment rack. The balanced xlr direct out is a nice touch. Very pleased indeed, excellent value and typical prompt zZounds service.

This amp is small and light enough to be easily transported to rehearsals but powerful enough to keep up with a full band. It has the perfect mix of clear highs and mids and strong lows. I use a thunder bird bass that will muddy up or distort a lot of other amps. This hartke really lets that t bird tone out. My p bass sounds really good as well, and growly. There isn't much in the way of extra features or gimmicks. what's there works well for me because I like to keep things simple. Build quality is superb. Not one thing loose or damaged. To sum up, this amp is very good for practice/ rehearsal and smaller venues. It doesn't take up much space but packs a punch. Sound quality is very good like I said, and build quality is as well. I'd say it's well worth the money if you want a small but powerful amp.

Excellent portable bass amp, gets quite loud, tone is very good. Good piece for the money and for taking to small/medium venues. It is minimal on the amp for amenities and controls but it has a great sound and the boost feature works well.

pound for pound their is not better amp on market at this price level. would it have been nice to have aux in and headphone jack? of course it would . but for a gigging bassist that dont need those features its a beast of an amp. so much poweer ...great tone.....it has slap button ...push it in and you rockin like its 1999. the beauty is in the simplicity ....great tones and easy to dial in your tone...dont be fooled by lack of tweeter i had to back off the treble cause it had too much bite. the only negatives are what i previously me
