I really love this bass! My other bass is a fender jazz with bartolini pups and this gretsch sounds just as good if not better! i love the warm tone it has. the pups are outstanding! I love how light it is, compared to my fender, and the short scale is awesome for quick playing! It's low end is surprisingly powerful! It rumbles any venue i play at. The only problem i have, which i knew coming in, was it is very neck heavy put once you find that comfortable position it is on! Most important is the wow factor! Anyone who lays eyes on the bass is just blown away on how beautiful it is! It is my new primary bass!
