Gibson 2016 J29 Rosewood Acoustic-Electric Guitar (with Case)

A solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides, and an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system give this Gibson J-29 powerful, well-rounded tone.

I've had my 2016 J-29 for 2 months now and it immediately became my number one. I have a lot of other guitars that don't get much attention now.
Sound
Sounds like a great Gibson should. The rosewood voice is louder and more complex than a mahogany guitar like a J-45. It retains great punchiness and adds rich harmonic depth. This is a wonderful sounding model.
Features
It's a slope Gibson with an LR Baggs Element VTC. It lacks nothing.
Ease of Use
With a small truss rod adjustment, my J-29 was buttery smooth on day one. The LR Baggs system sounds great for my weekly live duo; it's got tone and volume controls - simple and easy to get great tone: plugged or unplugged.
Quality
The build, fit, and finish are all flawless.
Value
This is worth the price. It's closest competitors (Martin HD-28 and Talyor 814ce) both cost more.
Manufacturer Support
I've dealt with Gibson and zZounds before and both bent over backwards to ensure my satisfaction.
The Wow Factor
It's not flashy but that's perfect to me. It has nothing I didn't want and everything I did.

This guitar is the perfect rosewood acoustic. The tone of this instrument is amazing... Not to bright and not to bass boomy like the Martin hd28. Thus it's the perfect band situation guitar and the tone will carry on and heard out noticeably The neck is pretty thick and if you have small hands it could be uncomfortable
