I had ordered one of these back in March from zZounds, but because I had a new 2016 traditional satin-burst T, I didn't feel as if I could afford to keep it. So, I got an R.A from them, and returned it, Now there was nothing wrong with the 2016, but this model just felt better in my hands, so I contacted zZounds, and asked about an exchange. They said "sure", so I sent the other L.P. back, and ordered this one.
It plays well. Action is great out of the carton, and it tunes, and intones well,too. I love the way that the 490R and the 490T pickups can blend well together. It's obvious that Gibson has " done their home-work with this guitar. The way to get a true Les Paul without sacrificing value,or quality!

Semi-professional guitarist. Drummer as well!
Musical Style:
Classic Rock, 12 bar blues, progressive rock. Some ( a little), country, ( modern style).
