"My dream Les Paul!"

This Les Paul Traditional is the real deal.Truthfully it's better than my 58 reissue. Fantastic sustain for days great tone. The neck is in between the 58 rounded and the slim tapper and very comfortable. Hand wired with 500k pots & the lemon burst on a plain top is beautiful. This is like having a cross breed of a 58 & a 59 Les Paul without breaking the bank. You will not find a better les paul for the price. This is my dream guitar I've always wanted. The Jimmy Page, The pearly gates and more.

Absolutely stunning and perfect in every way. This is coming from a guy that's owned just about every guitar. This guitar is a step above flawless in every category. zZounds rocks too! FedEx sucks, but that's a separate issue! This guitar is pristine, I picked the heaviest one with the best grain. I've never had a set up be dead on out of the box like this. Gibson is back!

I just received this guitar today. zZounds is the best place to buy a guitar. They treat you great. I ordered my guitar on Tuesday and I'm already playing it. Now about this Gibson. I want to start out by saying Wow! The guitar is better than I even dreamed. The quality is awesome. Gibson is making great guitars again it appears. This one is not weight relieved. It's heavy like the originals which is the way a LP should be. The maple top is beautiful. No quilting or tiger stripes. Just a plain and beautiful top. The pickups are great and the sustain is forever. If you are thinking about buying a traditional, this is the one. I believe only a couple of vendors have the Lemonburst. zZounds is obviously one of them. I wanted a Honeyburst but now that I've seen the Lemonburst I'm glad it's what I picked. Everything about this guitar screams vintage and awesome. Just buy one you won't be disappointed.

I have played guitar since I was 12 years old.I'm 53 now. I'm not a gigging musician.Ace Frehley, and Jimmy Page, are my influences.I've had Les Pauls made in the 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's.I have had customs, deluxe's, standards, studio's, classics, and one other traditional. My particular Les Paul traditional exclusive weighs 10 lbs 5 ounces.Right out of the case, I put my favorite Ernie Ball slinky 10's on her.I play through a Blackstar 20 BY.The bridge pickup is hotter than a Gibson 500T pickup.Very crunchy.I had to turn the preamp down. That is NOT a complaint. It's a complement. This big fat, blond haired honey, ROCKS.Sustain. Bottom end. Full body.My professional musician friends were very interested to see if a new Gibson guitar could still pass the test. For years now, my favorite guitar, that I always keep by my side, ready to play, has been put back into her case, and I have found a new number one.If you have always loved to Gibson Les Pauls, but you have been disappointed in Gibson's performance of late, I suggest that you buy one of these, and your faith will be restored in Gibson.Thank you zZounds, and thank you to Gibson.I love this guitar.

My favorite music store in the 1960's used to have a great selection of new/used Gibson guitars, SGs, Les Pauls, 335s, etc., back then it was a matter of playing each one until I found the "ONE" that spoke to me. Most of them were ok.... a very few ( one or two ) were outstanding, and I could take my pick. Fast forward to the present, I haven't found that kind of selection anywhere! It was a step of faith to order a Les Paul sight unseen. I ordered a Les Paul Traditional Zebra Lemonburst and have been VERY impressed. This guitar, even unplugged sounds wonderful! It has beautiful sustain, the 57 classic pups are warm/crisp/vintage and turned up sound remarkably 59ish, aka Billy Gibbons pearly gates LP. I have to mention when playing it unplugged the neck FN vibrates in my hand! It truly has a voice of its own! Whether this guitar is one in a 100 or better I don't know, but I'm impressed with Gibson quality! In closing I have to say the pics online looked to have an orange cast, mine is a wonderful gold/honey color with the lemonburst in the center. I have played LOTS of Les Pauls.... only one came close to this one! Thanks zZounds and GIbson!

This guitar after a good set up rocks. The traditional les paul is one of my most favorite out of the gibson family of guitars. I would recommend this instrument to anyone. Thanks, zZounds for making the payoff easy (12 installments ). Also for having this guitar plugged in within 2 days of ordering. ( quick shipping ) Thanks again, Jim

I bought this because of the specs - traditional, non-weight-relieved, plain-top, '57 classic/plus humbuckers, and, of course, Les Paul. This is was a great investment for me. The tone is spectacular. The neck feels right in my hand. The color and the look of this thing just knocks me out. I've had it a few months now and had time to play it a good deal. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

"Great guitar but some setup issues"

I bought this guitar blemished from zZounds. I could not find one nick scratch or dent it was perfect cosmetically. But the person that returned it previously screwed around and ran the pick up screws all the way out and it needed a set up my luthier had to recut the nut and build up the g string it was sitting on the fret board. For some reason the intonation is off on the 2nd fret and not anywhere else across all stings. I didn’t notice the intonation right away my guess is I might need a new nut . Any way it’s with the luthier now so I’ll wait and see it is a very nice guitar plays and sounds good it wasn’t to bad before the set up either it just buzzed a little and the pick ups sounded out of balance until they were adjusted back the way they should have been from the factory. I guess I would have returned it if I didn’t get a real good deal on it . I would have been mad if I paid full price and had these issues I still like the guitar a whole lot and after I get to the bottom of what’s going on the 2 nd fret I’ll be a lot happier with it
