I first saw one of these maple fret board les paul customs in the "reserved" room at a popular musical instrument center. Hanging next to it was the typical black beauty. I just loved how bright and how different the maple version looked in comparison. I'm a lifelong Les Paul Custom admirer. The guitar just suits me and has the booming tone I desire. When zzounds offered the one I purchased at a heavy discount, it made my day and my year ! Not to mention a 12 pay plan that made it all possible to own my dream guitar. Thanks Zzounds !
