The 2015 Standard Strat's are exceptional. The bundle package here is icing on the cake. I know Fender had a price increase (499$ to 599$) but the Texas Special pick-ups are 198$. Even at the old price of 499$ you could not get this good a deal with Custom Shop pick-ups(499$ plus 200$ for TS Pickups = 699$) Truth be told I am very well pleased with the playability of this guitar. If doing a blindfold test I would guess it an American Strat. The sound quality of this Strat is also top-notch for the price range with the stock pick-ups. When I use the phrase in this price range I would define that as a 599$ to 899$ range. I was very impressed with the ceramic magnets but the TS pick-ups in my opinion are an excellent upgrade.

i love this guitar. while it is not a American fender, there is no way you can go wrong with this deal. The stock mim pups are ok, not bad but not great either... but slap the texas specials in and the guitar comes alive. the neck was perfect as i received it, i didnt even have to adjust the truss rod after i put a feeler gauge on it. i am very happy with my purchase. playing through a little 5w vibro champ amp this guitar just sings!.
