i expect to be greatly satisfied with this guitar for the rest of my life,i do own other instruments, and probably will have other guitars that i use for my sound, but this guitar is, and will always be, a staple in my musical quest.
Sound
the sound of this guitar is warm and rich , it has a great bluesy sound and feel .the sustain is excellent it is avery nice guitar for straight rythm and blues sound as well as classic rock sound
Features
the guitar came with a tremolo bridge , i dont think it is useful on this guitar, it throws the guitar out of tune ,i recommend blocking the bridge, it adds stability . i removed the tremolo bar , with the bridge blocked the guitar stays in tune very well and seems to have better sustain
Quality
the instrument is made beautifully, the finish is outstanding, and the hardware is nice and solid
Value
it is definately worth the selling price it has great value for the money
Manufacturer Support
i have not dealt with the company
The Wow Factor
it is without a doubt very alluring, i think they achieved a compelling appeal with the look and feel of this guitar

"Simply the Best"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This guitar will probably stay my main axe, possibly enjoying "co-headliner" status with an 8 string if I ever purchase one.
Sound
This guitar has an extremely variable sound and I have found it great for all musical styles, though it excels at blues and "middle of the road" rock. It has some great sounds available from the pickup combinations. I am particularly fond of positions 2 and 4 for clean comping because of the open "acoustic" quality they have.
Features
This guitar is (or rather was) sold bare with no extras. The strings that came on it were nice Fender 9s that I have since replaced many times with D'Addario and Ernie Ball 9s. The locking tuning pegs do take some getting used to, I've had the guitar for a few years now and just recently learned how to string it properly with those tuners. (Hold them still with a quarter so that the lock catches and you're golden.)
Ease of Use
This guitar has some great sounds when it's plugged in. Whether I'm playing my little Smokey practice amp or my buddy's expensive Marshall stack it sounds absolutely amazing and versatile. This guitar is also a pleasure to practice with unplugged, and has a nice unplugged sound.
Quality
This guitar has some issues with buzzing and the action may be a little low for some, but all in all it's really not bad the adjustments to make it perfect (for me) were so tiny that I did them my self and it did not affect the intonation. It is worth noting that the graphite nut doesn't really help tuning stability all that much, the G string goes out of tune quickly with drastic use, but on the upside, the guitar will stay tuned even with the bridge set to "float" a little for some pull back.
Value
This guitar was what I expected for the price and met my expectations perfectly.
Manufacturer Support
I have not dealt with Fender, preferring to take issues up with my local guitar shop.
The Wow Factor
When I played this guitar in my local shop I just had to have it and I immediately put it on layaway. I bought the last new one in town before they were discontinued and it is my go-to axe for all occasions when I'm not playing classical music. It just jumped out at me as a pleasure to play with a great sound.

Been looking at these since they first made them, I bought mine used and I was glad to finally get my hands on one. Overall awesome guitar, plays great, sounds great. Though I've had some issues with the action, and fret buzz. The setup was worth it in the long run. Beautiful finish, sharp looks, competes well with most modern guitar models. A nice combo of vintage and modern tones. Love it! Wish fender would reissue this monster.
