I expect to get may many years of use out of this amp both live and recording. It can handle small to large clubs and outdoors- plenty loud without losing anything. From Chickin' pickin' to dirty to thrashing it does it all-- The reproduction of Fender models are outstanding-65 Twin-57 Champ -59 Bassman are a few--
Sound
Compared the Twin settings to my old Twin and it is amazing. With a few tweaks you really can't tell any difference. This amp kicks. I have a comparable modeling amp from another manufacturer but the Fender sounds so much better. Play a lot of country lead and this is spot on. Some presets and the Bassman settings are great. I do not use floor pedals any more. The band loves the sound--
Features
You can control the presets with footswitch that comes with it and tune thru the same footswitch with the display. Very nice. Wish it had removable castors or castors at all. Amp is very loud and powerful which allows really clean fidelity at normal volumes.
Ease of Use
Like all modeling amps, there is a learning curve to take advantage of all the goodies. Comes with software that is relatively simple. Allows complete control and tweaking through your computer for your own presets.
Quality
Amp is well engineered and seems pretty rugged. Controls and display are on top. I keep is covered when not is use. I don't expect problems but always have a backup for everything--Murphy's Law
Value
To me, the Mustang IV is the best value of any amp out there. I have paid much more for amps that can't give me the sound or do what this does.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to contact Fender in 40 years of using thier products. I have had two Twin reverbs over a forty year period along with several strats and teles. Wore them out
The Wow Factor
Very clean looking amp with a Fender logo. sweet--

I am an intermediate player and was tired of playing used gear so did a lot of research before I made this purchase. I have many friends in the music industry that play several different amps. When I showed up with my Mustang IV they were blown away by the sound and the diversity of tones you can get. I love it and they all gave me a thumbs up.
